Gta verse story version: the green light nuclear explosion in Tartaria caused some infrastructure problems as well as economic problems that people protested and soon their protests turned from a nation of protesting to a civil war setting and both the nations of malorussia and Alaska,

0:39 "i am not one of the leaders, we don't have leaders" > "we don't have leaders per se, i am just here as a representative" 0:49 jeff newsroom, you have an entire cable news show to yourself and are apparently having absolutely zero influence on anything that happens, according to sorkins premise. why shouldnt we give a lot of people talking at the same time a chance (also note sorkins inability to conceive of a world in which he isnt allowed to monologue endlessly) 1:03 no, not one particular thing. she just said "a variety of issues" dude, like five seconds ago 1:21 ok aaron, if jeff newsroom is not overpaid, neither is kim kardashian. neither is kevin federline. if you want to double down on a "market good" rationalization of value to society, good luck with that and your vastly inflated sense of your own worth 1:29 communism. next question? 1:50 no they wouldnt be able to meet with anyone because wall street has a chokehold over every important politician and the international economy in general. and sorkin thinks this is....good? 2:21 why does sorkin think this is such an own? no of course a social movement devoted to justice and equality shouldnt end. why would it 2:28 all the supreme court justices should be [ redacted ]

“We want people to look at OWS and ask why this is happening.” Okay, and now you’re on the news being interviewed because someone asked that exact question. If you get attention, and you go on to state that your goal is to get attention, then you don’t really have a goal.

If you ask me, the almost requiem like vibe fits the sequence in the ruined Martin house perfectly. What makes this ending so well done in my opinion is that... It doesn't highlight the death of the world and the success of the cult like many other games would. Instead it's showing the the final collapse of John as not only a person, but as a man of god. This ending reminds me of an old saying from William Shakespeare's Julius Caesar: "A coward dies a thousand times before his death, but the valiant taste of death but once."

Most bad endings I’ve seen are usually a very basic “you lose, f*** you” and proceed to be over, with the game itself knowing it’s not canon (and arguably more of a gag/gimmick for the player). This, however, hits different. It feels real, giving a sense of inadequacy, cowardice, and failure (as many already noted) that seems like a realistic outcome for a person under such a heavy and traumatic burden.

My Mum, Nan and brother were on one of the last flights out of Singapore and then Dubai as the airspace closed behind them, having seen the footage of the towers being struck on tv just as they were getting ready to head out to the airport for their flight home to the UK. I was booked to fly to New York on the 1st November 2001 to travel around the USA for a few weeks and was planning on standing at the top of the towers - it was safe to say that after what happened on 9/11, my mother asked me (more like demanded) that I cancel the flight and to not go.

When you think about it - She screwed up her interview on merits (she really did!) , she physically attacked a guy and she welched on a deal she had with him. And she never learned from it, never appologized... Fascinating! What a horrible toxic aggressive person. And in the series she is later apologized by crew and eventually by Will... because she was a "victim". Got it.

Imagine god throwing you into a life of tragedy, horror and despair, with you having no way of saving yourself except the FAITH that this god supposedly cares about you and protects you in this battle against unworldly horrors. Time and time again, you do your best and succeed, but it never seems to be enough. The battles never end, the nightmares never cease. Is it seriously too much to ask, for these fights to come to an end? When you finally break down and decide that you don't want to fight anymore, the best this LOVING god has to say is... DAMNATIO MEMORIAE Despite how cruel and unforgiving this situation sounds, I'd never give up fighting, and I never will, whether or not god gives a shit; but I'll be damned if it isn't a fucked up way to be.

I was 11. It was my first Tuesday in Middle School. By the time recess had come around, maybe 10 or 11am, we noted the PA system had called for not one, not two, but MANY kids to be sent down to the Principal's office for dismissal. Sixth period came, and we were ordered to evacuate the school. We were told it was a Code Green. (Just the week before we practiced hiding in the event of a Code Red aka school shooter) We evacuated to the edge of the soccer field. Us kids sat around the goal posts while every faculty and staff member were standing out of ear shot circled around the Principal who told them the news. A rumor amongst the students said that someone planted a bomb in one of the classrooms. None of us knew. I didn't know until I got home off the bus when my sister was standing outside waiting for me. She asked me if I knew the World Trade Center. I said no. She asked if I remembered the Twin Towers, the ones where my Dad and I went some years prior when I was possibly 8? I have to find out if I can though I doubt I'll know (Dad passed away last year). Anyway, when I confirmed that I knew what she meant, she said that a couple of planes crashed into them and destroyed them. I at first, uttered disappointment that someone would do that and that I wouldn't get to see the Towers again. Eleven year old me had no idea how 19 demons were so full of hate that they would do this. I watched the news with my Mom the replays of just the second plane hitting. I knew nothing of the Pentagon or of Flight 93. My Uncle was in the city but FAR AWAY from Ground Zero. My Great-Cousin was also in the city but I have reason to believe that he was affected by the fallout because he passed away to cancer back in 2022. My Dad? He was down in Orlando and was supposed to fly back that day. He wound up renting a car and driving all the way up to NJ. The next morning as I was about to walk out the door to my bus stop, Dad came in the front door and Mom had the three of us enveloped in a group hug. 9/12 was a day where all bullying and antagonism against each other evaporated. The day before was all we could think and talk about. I didn't learn about the Pentagon until that day. The case of United 93 gradually made its way through my collective and I finally mustered the courage to watch the film for the 20th anniversary. I ended up paying respects to the Flight 93 Memorial in Pennsylvania. Sometimes I think to myself...we live in NJ. We use Newark International Airport. My Dad was a frequent flyer. If his job made him go to San Francisco that morning on the 8:00am flight westward....I know for certain he absolutely would have joined the revolt to fight against the hijackers.

Stationed at a three-letter agency in the Northern Virginia region, working in the secure messaging center (more recognizably called the comm center). I was a young SrA, two and a half years into my enlistment. That morning, I was walking out with another guy working same shift, 0700. We were coming out through the lobby, and for some reason, he'd made mention about being at the dedication for this time capsule they'd stuck in the middle of the lobby and how it cost $65,000. I said, "Watch. If World War III breaks out, there's Ground Zero." Then I drove home. I was asleep when the phone started ringing. My then-wife asking if I had the news on. I said no, I was asleep. Went and turned on the TV. Heard the line beep, checked the ID, told her I had to go for the recall notifications. Which was 24/7 shop, so it was just report for our duty shifts as scheduled until further. I got one call out to my grandmother, letting her know we were alright. Shortly before watching the first tower fall. Tried to call out again, and the circuits were already jammed. Remained that way for at least half the day. Do you want to know the worst part? Yes, the attack itself was awful. But the real trauma... my work was just south of Dulles. Planes flying through all the time. I worked midnights, so there wasn't much traffic noise along the neighboring highway. Even for DC area. But you'd always hear flights coming through. Until that day. Just... silence, except for the occasional fighter sortie. So that was eerie. Until later when the commercial skies finally opened back up, and the first passenger jet came flying overhead during my smoke break. And I remember just standing there, looking up, watching it with a wary eye. All the way through on its flight path for landing at IAD. It took me a while before I trusted, and eventually dismissed, the sound of a passenger flight.

It’s amazing how many stories I hear about people who were talking or reminiscing about the twin towers the day before the attack, and I’m not immune. On September 10th I was at a birthday party across the hall from my apartment and a photo album was on the coffee table. People were going through it and it was a trip to NYC and they had like 20 photos from atop the WTC, to which I brought over a stack of pictures taken from exactly the same vantage point. This was like 4am on the west coast, 3 hours later those buildings were no more. I had passed out and my neighbor woke me up beating on my front door he couldn’t believe it. I thought I was dreaming. We all woke from the dream that day
